The Gallatin River Lodge was built in 1998 and opened to the public in 1999. The founder and owner, Steve Gamble, worked with Kane Architecture and Robert Naert Construction to construct a classic western Inn that enhances a spectacular location just west of Bozeman, Montana. The site includes a beautiful trout pond and is a short walk from the world renowned Gallatin River. In 2005, the Patio Dining Room was completed as shown in the photo below. In May 2012, the new Trout Cabin Lodge, is complete and also offers new contemporary rooms with cutting edge design features.

We operate all year and provide services to our guests that are beyond the average hotel. As a small luxury boutique hotel, we offer exceptional luxurious accommodations, fine creative dining, business conference services, and a quiet place to unwind and relax. We are just 15 minutes from downtown Bozeman, yet in a country setting on a 300 acre ranch next to the Gallatin River-where the movie "River Runs Through It" was filmed. We also are known as a destination Fly Fishing Lodge and offer exceptional fly fishing opportunities and guide service on the Gallatin, Yellowstone, Jefferson, Missouri and Madison Rivers. We also fish famous private spring creeks nearby
