Summer season begins in June and extends into early September. Montana has wonderful mild summers with temperatures in the 70's and 80's. Nightfall always cools down into the upper 30's to low 50's. Afternoon showers are always possible. Sunsets are spectacular - Montana is the "Big Sky" state, and you'll really enjoy these sunsets from the patio overlooking our trout pond!
Fishing is consistent throughout these months. July is a great month for stoneflies, caddis and a variety of mayfly hatches. August brings hopper fishing and evening caddis hatches. Attractor dry flies also work well. September fishing is our favorite with cool nights and beautiful colors. A variety of mayflies, caddis and streamers are fishing well by mid-month.
